Chocolate Sponge Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream (decorated with Shaved Chocolate and Chocolate Whipped Cream Frosting)

I decided to prepare this yummy small cake for our friends. They had their second marriage anniversary a few days back and I thought what could be a more perfect gift to them than a special chocolate cake! I have a tried and tested delicious easy Chocolate Cake recipe but this time instead of preparing the same cake, I decided to try new things: learn how to bake a sponge cake, salted caramel icing, shave chocolate, use the piping bag and prepare a delicious and light chocolate whipped cream frosting and I thought well, here goes nothing!
