I love this spice blend. This adds a delicious tangy salty flavor to the food. Chaat Masala is most commonly used in Indian street foods as a final touch. It adds layers of mouth-watering flavors with a classic funky aroma.
Chaat Masala consists of amchur, cumin, coriander, dried ginger, black salt, black pepper, asafoetida and chili powder. Although it contains salt, it should never be used alone or as a substitute of salt because it is a mixture of other spices and the salt content is actually very low in it.
