Plum Puree

This is one fruit I buy in bulk and always keep in my pantry. How? Dried Plums. They come handy for making a quick puree whenever I want. Plum is an excellent source to add natural sweetness in an otherwise bland puree.

Nutrient wise, Plums are a very good source of calcium, vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), B2, C and E. They contain powerful antioxidants. They are also great for relieving constipation of our babies because they have fiber (pectin).

A happy tummy is a happy baby!

Ingredients:
  • Dried Plums – 4-5

Directions:
  • Dip the Dried Plums in ½ cup of water, cover and keep in the fridge overnight. Alternatively, you can microwave them, let them cool down completely and make the puree straight away.
  • Transfer to the blender cup (Nutri bullet cup) along with the water.
  • Blend to make a smooth puree, add more water if required.
  • Serve and let your baby enjoy the goodness!
  • This puree can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 days.
